Founded in 2008 as a small family-run business based in Sheffield, ACDC Cranes has grown into a trusted provider of lifting equipment, crane maintenance and inspection services across the UK.

Over the years, we secured a valued partnership with VERLINDE Cranes, enabling us to supply high-quality new crane systems, genuine spare parts and industry-leading lifting solutions backed by expert support and engineering knowledge.

As the business evolved, we took a close look at where we fit within the marketplace and how we could deliver a better service than our competitors. We recognised that clients needed greater visibility, smarter maintenance management and a more proactive approach to reducing breakdowns and costly downtime.

Our solution was to invest five years developing our own bespoke inspection and asset management software — designed by engineers, for engineers. That’s how InspectUs was born.

InspectUs allows clients to digitally track and manage defects, inspections, maintenance history and compliance across their cranes and lifting equipment, providing real-time visibility and helping identify issues before they become major failures.
